The creation of the Boston temple box continued my recent trend with what may be too much attention to detail. The side window assemblies each have 14 parts alone. The two most prominent features of this temple are arguably its beautiful spire at the front and unique round celestial room projection at the back. Those features were as challenging to make in miniature, as were the side windows. The Boston temple box includes 85 parts and measures 4” x 7½” x 6¼”, with a box capacity of a bit just under 21 in³. It is made primarily of pine with some poplar and birch plywood thrown in for variety.
