The Gila Valley temple box was requested by a missionary serving in my home ward. He was from there and really wanted to see one made. The Gila Valley temple box is unique, because, in addition to a separate celestial room compartment, it also is the first to feature storage on its top. This temple has parapet walls that make it look much bigger from ground level than it really is. I wanted to make The Gila Valley temple box mimic this feature. It measures 6¼” x 6” x 6½”, and offers just over 25 in³ of storage (inclusive of the rooftop). The Gila Valley temple box is mostly pine, with some plywood and is made of 56 parts.
