With a bit of patience and time, I was able to replicate in my temple box what I consider to be the most unique and striking feature of the Kansas City temple; the 38 arches around its exterior (12 on each side, 3 on each end and 4 on each of its cupolas). The Kansas City Center temple box also features a small roof-top compartment that is only seen from the air on the actual temple. It is constructed mostly of pine, with some birch plywood, and has 27 parts. The Kansas City temple box measures 3½” x 6⅞” x 7½”, and has a box capacity of almost almost 32 in³.
