I have looked forward to making a temple box for the Fort Collins Colorado temple for quite a while. Ever since I made my design sketch of it, to be exact. When I make the sketches, I typically start with a top view. To my surprise, a cross appeared on the roof top of the Fort Collins temple! You will see it too if you look closely at the photograph and picture yourself looking straight down from above. Otherwise, the roof and spire represented some challenges to my skills, but I figured it out. The Fort Collins box features 33 arched window and door openings inset around its exterior.  This temple box is comprised of 43 pieces and measures 5⅝” x 7⅝” x 4¼”, with a box capacity of approximately 16½ in³.  It is made of pine and birch.
