At first glance, the Meridian Idaho temple appears to be a blending of the Laie Hawaii temple and the Cardston Alberta Canada temples. However, it has its own unique characteristics, such as the way its four corner and single central towers morph from square, to slightly octagonal to completely octagonal as the eye moves upward. It is also symmetrical front to back and side to side. Another unique feature of the Meridian temple grounds are its circular sidewalks surrounding the temple, which I have attempted to represent with a round base plate in my temple box rendition. This is also just the third time I have actually completed my temple box before the actual temple was dedicated. The Meridian temple box provides about 32 in³ of storage, features two compartments made from 69 parts, and measures 7” x 7” x 4⅞”. It is made of pine with some birch plywood.
